Hi Martha,

I'm hoping we have a connection that's not too slim.

I have Elizabeth Beswick (AKA Betty) b 1788. She married Richard Bulmer in 1808 in Scarborough, Yorkshire. They had a least 4 chn Sarah, Richard, George J, Thomas all born around Brompton by Sawdon, Lockton & Wykeham.
The name Beswick reoccurs in subsequent generations as a name for male chn which is why I'm quite fascinated by it.

The above George J is my ancestor who emigrated to NSW in 1844 on board the 'St Vincent'.

Would love to exchange info if you think we match.
Cheers
Bronwyn
