Thanks Susan, for your reply. But you just answered my question. If the daughter of Anthony is living with her father in the 1851 Census, she can NOT be the Elizabeth that married Thomas Storry. In 1851, Thomas and Elizabeth were married and living together. She was born in Malton and is the daughter of Robert. I've noticed since writing my email, that several other researchers have reached this conclusion and have corrected the web sites.
I have lots of questions on the Beswicks and Birdsall's - have also made some major breakthroughs lately. I will contact you directly since it gets prolific. Just wanted to get this information on GenForum.
So to conclude:
Robert Beswick, bp 24 Jul 1784, married Mary Thompson and had the following children: Ann bp 08 Dec 1808, Mary, bp 04 Oct 1810, Jane bp 22 Oct 1812, charlotte, bp 19 Nov 1814, Henry bp 5 Nov 1817 (Married Mary Clarkson) and Elizabeth bp 05 Feb 1807 (married Thomas Storry).
Anthony Beswick, bp 03 Mar 1782, married Mary Clarke and had the following children: Robert Clarke, bp 25 Dec 1804, Richard bp 08 Jul 1807, Ann, bp 23 Sep 1809, Elizabeth, bp 20 Oct 1811, and Mary bp 21 Jun 1815
