Beswick Family History

Me again, last post was in 2001. Have learned a little since then and hope to clarify the story. As before, the family name dates back to "The War of the Roses" Still don't know if red or white though. Understand that the majority of the so called undesirable ones were exiled to the English prison camps in Australia and a select number was allowed to come to America. There supposedly a large Beswick population is in Australia all though I did not find any post from anyone from the country. Definetly a large number of Beswick's live in England. My brother visited England and says he went to the provincial (?) parish/county seat and requested audience with the Lord Beswick. He provided the secretary with all information he had on the family tree from his research. He waited about 4 hours before being told that the Lord had no interest in meeting him and was asked to leave. I guess when it comes to English royalty per say the hate and discontent lingers. I often wonder if there may be another family not associated with the English heritage. In any case, hopefully I will get lucky and recive some response that will help me to clarify what I know and possibly provide us more information that will help us research our tree further.
