I think that George Ernest is a grandson of John Beswick, one of the four brothers who came to NZ, and son of John George Beswick and Emma. He had two sisters and three brothers. He is therefore a great grandson of the aforementioned Samuel. John Beswick drowned in Wellington harbour in 1865 when the ship City of Dunedin sank.
