Samuel Beswick who died around 1850 was father of a large family. Four of his sons came to NZ in 1853 and I am a descendant of William, the eldest son. Samuel lived in or near Trinity House in Scarborough at one stage and owned or ran a timber business and had some overseas interests. He may have been involved in boat-building. Some of Samuel's forebears came from Gristhorpe near Filey. Samuel's wife was Annie Cockerill.
I am new to online research and I guess I am looking for some possible pointers to track down the siblings who stayed among other things.
