In Reply to: BIRDSALL BESWICK OF LEEDS YORKSHIRE by Mrs. Billie Dawson of 184

Hi
I am descended from Robert Beswick christened 24th July 1784 who was Birdsall Beswick's brother he was my GGGG Grandfather
Their parents were Richard and Elizabeth nee Birdsall of Brompton by Sawdon near Scarborough in Yorkshire, he was a farmer.
They were married on the 5th December 1769
I think Richard's father was William Beswick but the situation is confused by there being another Richard Beswick married to an Elizabeth in the same village though he was a mason. I believe his father was George Beswick also a mason, so like father like son
Don
