I must say... that according to the Betancourt History... the name came from France and we are somehow all related. I have family in Puerto Rico, New York and Pennsylvania. My Grandfather who moved to Puerto Rico from France had 45 children from wives and mistresses...my dads name was Angel L. Betancourt... all children are in the 60+... it be nice to know who my cousins were/are.
