I have a Peter Turner/Pierre Bitournay married to Mary Seymour/Simard living in Plattsburgh starting with the 1840 census of that county. They had two daughters, Sally/Celeste married to Edward Thompson about 1853 and Lina married to Patrick Caffrey/McGaffrey (sp ?)at St. John's Plattsburgh about 1854. This Turner family is probable related to the Paul Bitourney family also in the same area. I am working the line back to Canada and it looks like St. Constant's in Quebec is a good place to look. Duquette is somehow realted to the Allard family in my history. Other lines connected to the Betournay bunch:Beaudin/Baudin Seymour/Simard, Labarre. Be happy to exchange more with you if you think we are connected.
