Would like to exchange information with anyone with knowledge of the BETTON family of Baltimore, MD. Alfred Jackson BETTON, son of Alfred BETTON and Helen JACKSON, was born in Baltimore in 1841. Alfred Jackson BETTON married Mary Jane NICHOLS at the BETTON home in Baltimore on October 15, 1862. Their children were: Alfred Fernandis, b. 1863; Joseph L., b. 1866; and John R., b. 1868. The BETTON's were shoemakers by trade.
