The faint trail of Mathew Eddy Betty born in Ludgvan 1844 and orphaned in liskeard in 1854. May have lived with Aunt Margaret Thomas nee Betty from 1854 to 1861 in Uny Lelant. May have taken the name Mathew Eddy not Mathew Eddy Betty in 1861 as he worked as a tin miner in Uny Lelant boarding with the Richard Hocking family. May have emmigrated in Australia and there married Elizabeth Nankervis in Moonta in 1871.
Please can you affirm or disaffirm this?
David C.
