Betty Family (Southern Idaho Genealogy)
Posted by: William Betty (ID *****5843) Date: August 21, 2011 at 02:59:53

My grandfather, Delbert Betty to the best of my knowledge hailed from Kansas or Kentucky and homesteaded in southern Idaho around the turn of the 1900s. He passed away (cira: 1964) when my father, Delray Betty was in his mid teens. Delbert Betty was survived by his wife Clair Brown-Betty from Brownsville Utah, children ,Floyd Betty, Gaydena Betty-Kulhanek, Shirley Betty-Stiffler/Nice, Delray Betty and David Betty. The Betty family owned a home and property approximately 12 miles northwest of Shoshone Idaho. I have very little knowledge of Delbert Betty's geneology, however, Clair Brown-Betty's family founded Brownsville Utah according to previous research.
