It's so nice to meet you! I just found this board tonight and already I have unveiled some of the greatest mysteries of the Betty family! ;o)

I, too, came down the line from the George Betty family, but we didn't stop in Kansas. My great-grandfather, Louis Tillman Betty was born in Cherokee Co., KS, and married Kitty Gaye Holstein. Later they moved on to Oklahoma, where my grandpa, Raymond Bud Betty was born, and possibly as early as 1923 had all moved on to the southeastern part of Idaho. (My 2x-great grandfather, Robert Carroll Betty passed away in Shelley, Idaho, in 1923.) There were so many Robert Carrolls it's hard to keep track of them all, and my Robert Carroll was the son of Isaac Carroll, son of Isaac, son of George, if that makes any sense at all.
