I am the great great grandson of William Betty who lived in Brunswick Co., VA. presumably from his birth in 1760 until he moved to Middle TN about 1808. I am interested in learning more about his parents/and or siblings who were in Brunswick Co., also. A possible relative is Rev John Betty who was the first Episcopal priest appointed to serve St. Andrews Parish in 1732. I do not know for certain whether any of these immigrated from Ireland but I am eager to find out from where they did immigrated. Any assistance regarding these individuals would be greatly appreciated. TEB
