I am trying to find what happened to William(1827).10 years ago a cousin of my Gr Grandmother did most of the families research, and at that stage John(1837) was a dead end. Then, she found out what happened to him, and we found about another 100 cousins(he had been very busy).
I am now hoping to solve the 'William Mystery'.We are pretty sure he arrived with 4 of his siblings, and parents, on board 'Pestonjee Bomanjee', 12-10-1838, Adelaide. From here ?????? were are you William ???!!!!!!!!!!!???
John(1826), Margaret, John(1837) and Daniel Peter, were all in the Moama(NSW), Echuca(Vic) and Bendigo(Vic) area, between 1855 and 1868.I have found a William, marrying Mary Catherine Howard, 1860, Vic.3 Children in Vic found so far -
Christopher b 1860, Kilmore
Joseph b 1863, Reed
Peter James 1867, Kilmore
Chistopher married Mary Harriet Woods, 1887, Kilmore.
Peter married Roseannia May Wade, 1896, Kilmore.
You mentioned your grandfather Edward's parents were Christopher and Mary.Do you think these are the right ones ??
Have a look, and let me know asap.
