I am a descendant of Johann Beyer from Mecklenburg, Germany. I do not have the name of Johann's wife but the children were Heinrick, Ludwig, Fritz, Freda (Schmidt) and Lizette (Peters).
Johann served in the Prussian Army for 15 years and was assigned as a sentry at the palace of Kaiser Wilhelm II. Johann also resided in Krakow (Mecklenburg) approximately 50 miles Northwest of Triepkendorf.

Have you been in contact with any of the Beyer's that currently live in Mecklenburg? I plan to make a trip to Mecklenburg when I get further into my research. Let me hear from you!
