I am looking for information concerning my mother's family. My grandmother was Allie Bias, born Feb. 29, 1896 in West Virginia. She married Ezra Martin Hudson in 1910. Allie's parents, according to her mother's obituary, were Van Bias and Rosa (possibly Rosie) Carpenter. Rosa Carpenter was Cherokee, possibly born in North Carolina. Besides my grandmother, Van Bias and Rosa Carpenter's children were named Mary, Ida, Lena, Mavie, Effie and Wallace. Rosa Carpenter died in 1954.
