Mr Nicely. I'm also looking for info on the Bias/Byas sisters that married the Nicely brothers, I know that Samuel Jr & Jonas are sons of Samuel Sr & Hannah, (Jonas & Jennie "Jane" are my line)

I have very little to go on, but this is what I have (most came from the net, some from census)

Samuel Nicely (bef 1772-bef 1834 Amherst Co Va) md-Hannah
They say Samuel came from Pa to Amherst Co Va
children-1-Samuel Jr md-Lucinda Bias/Byas d/o Roland Bias & unknown 1st wife, 2-Jonas md Jennie "Jane" Bias/Byas d/o Roland & unknown 1st wife, 3-Sally md William Hogg, 4-John md-Mourning Nuckles, 5-Rebecca md-Samuel B Mitchell, 6-Benjamin
note-Samuel Jr & Lucinda's children are listed as Elizabeth, Dudley, Roland, Alexander, & Delila

Jonas Nicely (abt 1792 Rockingham Co Va-unknown) md-Nov 27,1811 Amherst Co Va., Jennie "Jane" Bias/Byas (abt 1795 Amherst Co Va-aft 1850 CC(W)Va) [Jennie may have married a 2nd time to a Mr Jenkins ?]
children-1-Zachariah "Zach" md-Elizabeth E Byars, 2-Nancy Jane md-Lindsey Gue, 3-James A md-Sarah Elizabeth Stanley, 4-Duelley/Dudley md-Susan J, 5-? Jane

1850 Cabell (W)Va census
Nicely James 26 farmer, Elizabeth 22, Sarah E 4, James H 2, Henry 1, Jane Jenkins 55 (I think this is James mother Jennie "Jane " and she may have been a widow twice, thats why she is living with her son)

maybe this will help with some direction for you to go by, and maybe others will help to add or correct new info on this family, if you find out new things please post it for others.
