I have always heard of "bernie" and can tell you what I know.

Elahugh was married to stella and the family home was 724 Adams Avenue, although the home was torn down and Aunt Bessie Bias Fry lived in a trailer there for years until her death. Her husband was Garnet Fry and they had a son Garnet "Ray" Fry.

Here's how I am related:

One of Elahugh and Stella's sons' Clarence Willard Bias was married to Gladys Edith Chinn Bias. They had one son, Joseph Michael Bias, an only son. "Willard" died August 7, 1944 in France during WWII. Joseph Bias married several times and divorced, but had several kids, Joseph Michael Bias, Jr (married me, Karen Dowdy Bias), Pamela Darlene Bias Mannon, Steven Clarence Bias (Married Beverly Simms Bias), Charles Bias, Joanna Bias, Virginia (Susie) Bias. Joseph Jr and I have two sons, Joseph Michael Bias, III and Jordon Tyler Bias. The other sons have daughters. Gladys never remarried, but stayed close with all the Bias'. Willard's siblings were Martha Bias Rickman who married and had a son Pat Rickman, (deceased), Zina (Ziney as they pronounced it)married Winfield, John Bias married Noma Bias (they have two girls Mary Katherine and Dee. Bernie Bias, Daniel Boone Bias, I cant remember them all. Mammaw Gladys and Aunt Bessie and Aunt Martha used to run together all the time and she would tell me that Martha and Bessie would argue who got the front seat in the car. Mammaw Gladys died January 2002, exactly one week after Aunt Martha died. "Mike" and I are divorced now (2003), but we were married 22 years. I hope this helps you. If you need any more information, just ask - kbias25705@hotmail.com. Also, Susie, Mammaw's youngest granddaughter has a picture of all the bias children when they were little - a group photo. Give me an address and I'll try to get it to you. I know where all the aunts lived, in fact the house aunt martha lived in on 8th street road was moved from its original location. apparently, mr bias and the brothers moved her house accross rolling logs to put it in its current location. If you look up Elahugh's name on the internet, it shows his obituary.
