No, not much on his children at all.It seems that the story just abruptly ended right there.
The only other info I have on Dr. Bibber's only known child Harold Thornton Bibber is that he was born 1877 prob. Bath, ME and married a woman named Lillian A.He died in 1931 and both and Lillian are buried in the Oak Grove Cem. in Bath, ME.In Notes on him I have from a cousin that Harold was a 1st Lt. in the Medical Corps during World War I.This might offern you something else to research.
Dr. Randall Bibber's wife's full name was Sarah Aborn / Aborne THORNTON and she was from Rhode Island. My own postings about her whereabouts or family still go unanswered on the Thornton page here.
What I have specifically about them is Randall Doyle Bibber b. Sept. 1, 1845son of John Doyle Bibber, Jr and Mehitable C. Hall.He died in 1910 and is buried at Oak Grove Cem. Bath, Maine.
His wife Sarah Aborn Thornton b. 1845 Providence, R.Id. 1914, buried Oak Grove Cem.Her father was named Zachariah Thornton (this is speculative).Randall and Sarah were married Feb. 6, 1873 but I don't know where...could have been Providence, might have been Bath.In the 1880 Census from Bath, Sagadahoc Co., Maine it lists Randall D. Bibber as a Physician, Male, Married, White, age 34 yrs. old born in Maine as were both of his parents. His wife Sarah A. Bibber listed as a house keeper, age 34 yrs. born Rhode Island as were both of her parents.Their son Harold T. Bibber age 2 yrs. born in Maine.
I have no idea if the son Harold and Lillian had any children, but if you are near Bath, it might be worth while to check the Oak Grove Cemetery there for those buried around Randall and Harold.
Good Luck in your searching and Please if you do find out anything please post it here so we can fill in some blanks regarding this family too.We would really appreciate the help as this Bibber family has been a rough one to research from the beginning. There are about 3 of us who have diligently been working on this line for many years and we still have lots of dots to connect.
Your help would be most appreciated.
Thanks, and I hope this additional info helps you out in some way too.Sorry it couldn't be more.
