Hello ~ my great great grandmother was the sister of Julia Alice (Brown)Bickerstaff ~ Mary Eugene Brown from Alabama. Her husband and my great great grandfather was William Parker Lacy. We would love to discover her parents name. We do have another Brown that we believe is related to Mary E Brown and Julia Alice (Brown) Bickerstaff. He (Thomas Brown) and can be found in the Weekly Co TN census in 1870 I believe ~ with stepchildren by the name of Smithwick ( another surname in our line)Our family cemetary is at Poplar Corners close to Jackson TN. The wife of Thomas Brown is buried there ~ she was born somewhere around 1840 ( have date somewhere) and her maiden name was Hopper ~ she was married to a Smithwick before marrying Thomas Brown. Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks Cheryl
