I am researching the Bickertons of the Upper Sackville NB area today and came across your message. Many of the Bickertons I've identifed descend from a John B. who was born 1816 in England and married a Mary ?. Sarah B. who married George Thompson, son of Jacob Thompson and Ruth (Lund, is one of these: I found this data on them:

George Thompson (Husband) b. 17 Oct 1843 in Sackville, NB
Marriage: 17 MAR 1879 in Cumberland County, NS
Children:
George Seward Thompson b. 15 May 1892 in Sackville, NB
Visler Thompson b. 11 Sep 1893
I've identified 7 of Sarah's siblings, the most prolific being Joseph b.1846 who m. Annie Esther Wheaton b.1851: I have 11 offspring for them but few marriages. The youngest, Cassie Parson Bickerton, b. 1889 in Sackville married Harold A. Estabrooks, son of Clifford and Susan Jane Estabrooks. Harold was born about 1874 in Sackville. He died on 11 May 1952.
I also have a George Bickerton b. 1832 in Yorkshire, m. Zena Babcock 1854 in Sackville: their son Clarence b. 1879 m. Mary Blanche Hicks b. 1881 in Cookville (my Lund's home town). I don't know how these Bickertons are related, but will keep working on it.
