1900 census records indicate that Henry Biehl was born in Germany in January 1846. He married Dora (unsure of this name) in 1872 in Germany, and they had 7 children: an unknown girl who at some point married a man with the last name of Rockwell; William, Charles, Anna, Adam, Henry, and Arthur. The first five children were born in Germany. Henry and Arthur were born in Nebraska. I believe the family emigrated to the U.S. in 1884.
Charles (born in Germany in 1875) married a woman named Rosie, or Rosina, who was born in Russia. They had four known children: Harvey (born in Nebraska in 1905), Cora, Lillian, and Doria. (The girls' names may be wrong; the census records were difficult to decipher.) Charles, AKA Carl, and the family were in Nebraska in the 1910 and 1920 census records, and in Mason County, Washington in 1930.
Charles, Rosina, Harvey and Lillian were all laid to rest at the Shelton Memorial Park in Mason County, Washington.
Harvey was my grandmother's first husband. If anyone is researching anybody from this line, I would love to communicate with you! Thank you.
