Fraktur birth certificate of Johannes Biehl (b. 29 Nov. 1827 Frederick Co., Md.)

The Spring 2010 issue of ANTIQUES AND FINE ART magazine in an article on p. 219 pictures a very fine fraktur birth and baptismal announcement for Johannes Biehl, born 29 November 1829 in Frederick County, Maryland.

This fine fraktur should be made known to the Biehl family. I am scanning it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and historic value.

My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please respond by emailing me directly and not by posting a reply on this genforum site, which I might not see.

If it were a birth certificate made for an early Pease family member, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.

Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA
