I am also member of Biga family. My grandfather changed his surname from Biga to Bigic, but I plan to change it back. My family origins are in Lika, Croatia. As my grandfather told me they lived in Vrhovina, near Plitvica's lakes. This family has been moved from Kosovo in 17th century when the Great movement occured under the Serbian patriarch Arsenije Charnojevich, and before that family was in Montenegro. It is possible that family Bigovic from Cetinje are our relatives and that they changed their surname. By the way, I live in Belgrade and I am electrical engineer and anyone who knows something about Biga family or who wants to share his knowledge with me may contact me on: biga@aaen.edu.yu or on my home address:
