Carolyn, I am trying to tie into James Bigby's family. I believe Susan Bigby, that married Henry Walls in Habersham county Georgia in the mid to late 1700's, is a sister to James Bigby Sr., that married Catherine Foreman. The daughter of Susan Bigby and Henry Walls, Susan Jane Walls, married John Carroll Payne in Habersham county Georgia in the early 1800's. The Payne family mistakenly said that James and Catherine's daughter, Susan Bigby, was the one that married Henry Walls. They blindly stuck to this assumption for a long time. A woman in Polk county Tennessee said that Susan Bigby that married Henry Walls was the daughter of Polly Bigby, which could have been one of Nathan Hicks daughters. Nathan Hicks married a full blood Cherokee woman in Georgia or South Carolina. The Hicks of the Cherokee Nation are from this line. It is the Bigby and Hicks families that I am interested in. Ronnie
