We really need to learn when and where Uncle Lys died; and place of burial. He was born Nov. 1863 in Irwin Twp., Venango Co., PA to PHILLIP and MARGARET BIGLER. The family later moved to a farm in Sandycreek Twp., Venango, PA. Uncle Lys worked in the oil fields of PA; also IL. He was reported as resident of the "County Home" at Smethport, McKean Co., PA in early 1940s (not found in 1940 Census). But have a summer 1942 snapshot. Daughter LENA BIGLER m. JAMES R. SPROWL; w. in Kokomo, Howard, IN in 1940. Daughter NELLIE BIGLER m. WILLIAM ECKENRODE; son HOMER L. ECKENRODE with Uncle Lys in 1930.
What was the maiden name of his mother MARGARET BIGLER? Was it SUTTON? Who is FIELDS?
