Ebenezer Bill/Patience Ingraham, CT 1726

Can anyone explain puzzling entries for child of Ebenezer and Patience Bill?
Ebenezer, b. 14 Dec 1695, m. 1726 Patience, b. 1706; yet entries abound for a son Samuel Bill born to them 25 Sept 1719. Patience would have then been a child of 13.
Also Ebenezer and Patience migrated to Nova Scotia in 1760 with their other children while this Samuel seems to have married Sarah Bond in 1742 and raised a family in Gilsum, NH. Sarah Bond Bill died 22 Feb 1796 in Gilsum, NH, yet Nova Scotia records show Samuel, son of Ebenezer and Patience, married Mary White 28 Oct 1773 in Cornwallis, Kings Co., NS.
Eaton's History of Kings Co., NS shows the family and mentions Samuel with two wives but does not explain the situation.
