My grandfather was Donald Munroe Wilkinson b. Salem, Mass 23 October 1895.
His parents were Albert Munroe Wilkinson b. Danvers, Mass 07 November 1860, d. Brookline, Mass 12 May 1908, married Salem, Mass 18 October 1894 to Isabella Lyons Bill, b. January 1863 in Machias, Maine, d. Beverly, Mass on 19 January 1935.Albert and Isabella Lyons Bill had two children, Donald and Janet, both born in Salem.Albert was a music teacher and bookkeeper in Salem.
Isabella’s parents were Caleb Rand Bill b. 30 May 1833 in Nictaux, Nova Scotia, Canada, d. 1902 in Salem, Mass. And Margaret Ann Bollman b. 11 September 1835 in Lunenburg, Massachusetts, d. 1923 in Salem, Mass. They were married on 07 June 1855 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.Caleb was a music professor. They had six daughters: Charlotte, Elizabeth, Georgia Buffington, Mary Ann, Isabella Lyons and Jane.I have further information on these Bill sisters if you would like. Some were born in Canada, some in Maine. The Bollman family has a history in Lunenburg back to Dr. Johann Daniel Bollman, a surgeon with the Hessians during the American Revolution.
Caleb seems to have had another wife?Margaret Foote, but I know nothing of her or if they had children.
This Caleb’s parents were the Rev. Ingraham Ebenezer Bill and Isabella Lyons, married 20 April 1826.I think you know the rest!
