This is confusing, but so many cooincidental names. Maybe you can figure this out.

I have Samuel Wright who was b in CT in cir 1794. He eventually moved to NY where he had most of his children. May have moved to Michigan before moving to Bureau County IL by 1850. He was a widow at that time. Don't know his wife's name.
In the 1850 census, he is living with a William Hill (wonder if that was supposed to be Bill?) , and a John Rose of NY and his wife Philena? (hard to read, but looked like Philena or Philathena) of NY.
Samuel Wright also has a daughter living in the next town named Elisabeth who married Charles B. Bill of (looks like Vt).
I have been trying to figure out how Samuel was related to Philena and the Rose and Hill families.
ANy ideas?
Angela in Oklahoma
