BILL, Edward, CT and Nova Scotia

My husband is descended from the Bill family. His great great grandfather was Elisha Bill, who lived in Back Bay, Letete, New Brunswick. His great grandmother was Naomi Bill. Elisha had a son, Benajah or Benomi, by his first wife. Naomi and Rebecca wer by his second wife, Hannah Sprague. When Elisha Junior died, on his death certificate it stated that his father was Andrew Bill from Nova Scotia, which we think was a piece of information someone else gave, because it is wrong. But the Nova Scotia possibility is one I would like to pursue. In my research to date, the connection does not seem to be with the Bills who remained in Nova Scotis, who had come in the 1760s as Planters. The only Bill of whom I can find nothing, is Edward Bill. Does anyone know what happened to him? He was born in Connecticut around 1710, and married Zerviah Fuller. Did he return during the War of Independence? There seems to be no trace of him in Nova Scotia, but, interstingly, my husband's McLean ancestor, Allan, purchased some land that had at one time belonged to Edward Bill when he arrived from Scotland in 1784! Fate plys such a role, doesn't it? Just a few generations down the road there was to be a very definite Bill connection. Help, someone!
