Dear Bob, sorry I have been away on holidays.
Walworth is a suburb just south of the Thames River next to Southwark and before Camberwell. It is now part of Greater London and was bombed heavily during WW2.
I have visited the area on two separate occasions and the old Georgian facades are still visible above the endless shops on Walworth Road and Old Kent Road.
