My John Billington appears in the 1800 Montgomery County NY census. He is married to Ana Eva Miller and the son of Elizabeth Christmann and James (Ciems) Billington, a Rev. War patriot killed at the Battle of Oriskany.

If this sounds like yours, I can provide some additional info. However, I could not elaborate on John's appearance in other counties.
