Hi Beverley: thanks for your response. To date all I know is that my great grandfather was a Frederick William Billington, born in Chester. His father was William Billington, place of birth not known, but who is listed in the census as a "Linen Draper" also in Chester. Now, Frederick married a Harriet Hayes, place of birth being Buckley, Flint, Wales, but her occupation was "Potter" Were all these ladies of that time potters? Or is this a weird coincidence? I'll email you directly with details of what I have. William could have had more children or these folks could have been related. Glenda
