Sophronia Billington line
Posted by: Janet Heck (ID *****8877) Date: January 22, 2004 at 10:09:25

I am hoping someone on this list can confirm the following line in my Billington ancestry. John Biliington m. to Elinor arrived here first. They had two sons John and Francis. Francis is my line:
#1. Francis m. Christian Penn Eaton
#2. Son - Issac m. Hannah Glass
#3. Son - Isaac m. Mary Donham
#4. Son - Ichabod m. Betty Peck
#5. Son - Nathaniel m. Phoebe (Doty) Cary
#6. Son - Nathaniel m. Sophronia Howard
#7. Son - Nathaniel m. Amanda Magner
#8. Daug. - Sophronia b. 15 Jun 1848 m. Benjamin Harrison Storer, b. 19 May 1841. They were married 5 Mar 1867 in Winthrop, ME. They lived in Vienna, Maine and had 5 children all born in Vienna.

Benjamin Harrison Storer d. 9 May 1880. After that Sophronia married Noah Hoyt. I have no record of her after her marriage to Mr. Hoyt but my grandmother - in her memoirs - says she met her once and found her to be a lovely woman. The family was in the Franklin County, ME area - Farmington, Wilton, etc. Any help with this line will be greatly appreciated.
