I am trying to find more info about Elizabeth Billington, dau. of Hardy Billington. She was born in TX ca. 1865. Had a son, Thomas Pleasant Sikes (poss. father, W. R. Sikes) in MO; married John Benton in MO and had Hurley Benton; married James Wooten ca 1903 MO; later married a Busby. The 1910 census says she had 8 children, 4 of whom were living at the time. Her photograph indicates very strongly that she was Native American. She did live in OK at one time; also lived in AR.

If anyone has info on this family, I'd love to hear from you. "Betty" was a very independent woman and has been hard to trace.
