Dear Jonathan,

You asked about a Billington Family Tree. I am a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. This group is in every state in the U.S. and Canada, with headquarters in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Their address is: P.). Box 3297, Plymouth, Ma 02361-3297. Their phone for the Office and Library is:(508) 746-3188. Their phone to order books or publications is: (508) 746-5058. Their web site is www.mayflower.org You cannot as far as I know, e-mail them with questions. You must write or call.

John Billington came on the ship Mayflower to Plymouth, MA in 1620 with his wife Elenor and sons John and Francis. Francis was the only surviving child and left all the following generations. Two Mayflower books have been published on John Billington through five generations. The second revised edition was published by the Mayflower Society in 2001. It is " John Billington" Volume 21, compiled by Robert S. Wakefield FASG and costs $ 20.00 American money plus shipping (International orders, please write for shipping cost).

The latest info is they believe JOhn Billington came from Lincolnshire, England as his son Francis was left some money or land by a wealthy family in Lincolnshire. Perhaps there is some library in England that has the silver colored hard copy editions of the American Mayflower books.

If you have a specific question about one of the ancestors, I might be able to look it up for you in the book.
Beverly Nickerson
