Hello All.

I too am from Ezekiel Sr. (James Billington) line. I would love to go back farther and prove once and for all whether or not we are decedents of the Mayflower Billingtons. From everything I have researched, I have formed the opinion that we have to be.

I have several reasons for this view point...

1. As William Points out the Billington name was not that popular at that time in the US.
2. I have contacted a genealogist in England and had some research done, it turns out the name was not even "popular" in England at that time either, more so than the US, but not overwhelming, meaning very few even per a whole county.
