Aquilla Binford that married Miram was
born Feb 23, or Feb 24, 1799 in Friends Upper Springfield MM. (If you aren't familiar with Henshaw's book on Quaker meetings, ask your librarian about them).
He died September 10, 1864 at Springfield MM.

He educated his children at Earlham College, Richmond, IN. (A Quaker college.) In 1850 Census, he was a farmer with about $5,000 of Butler in Columbiana Co, OH. Later he bought his children land near Marshalltown, IA. He is #94 in the Binford Genealogy which was compiled by Mary Bruner Ladd in the 1920's. The Library of Congress has a copy of this book as well as Earlham College.

His children were Martha, William H, Jesse,
John, Benjamin, Hannah C, Robert and Samuel.

If you ever run across any early BINFORD pictures, I am interested in compiling them into a book. Please keep me in mind.

Thanks and good luck.
