Matt,

There were lots of Binford's in Wichita, Sedgwick Co, KS. If you're ever there...try going to the College Library at Friends University....Quaker College.

Josiah Binford and Margaret Hill were superintendents there in the early 1900-1922 period. Several of their children lived in the area as well as Cousins....They came from IN to KS in the 1800's.

March 14, 1922 Obituary in Wichita Beacon Newspaper, Roll 107, p5 Col 2.
"Prominent Quaker Churchman Dies at Advanced Age." Died at home 628 S. Fern--ill several weeks--invalid wife. Daughter Myra was manager of YWCA and was taking care of parents. Funeral was at home with the Rev. J. Arthur Wollam presiding.
