Don,

The Bruner book of the 1920's in the SUPPLEMENT section has a Pinkney Shaw Binford dying in 1885 Silver City, New Mexico. Try the 1880 census and see what you find. The book said he had a wife and no children (as of the 1920's book).

Pinkney's parents settled in Hickman, KY from TN??? also try Fulton Co.
