Barbara,

There is a book out (I saw it at Clayton Genealogical Library) on "Sheriff's of Texas" and "T" Binford is listed with, I must say a very impressive resume.

He was called "T" Binford. His son, Ellis was my uncle. Ellis was a U.S. Marshall who at one time transported illegal mexican aliens back to the border and made sure they crossed back over into Mexico.

"T" died a long time ago. Uncle Ellis died before my Aunt Dot. She lived until about 1980 - died of cancer.

I can pull out the information, if you need me to......do you have his wife's name and their children? I know Ellis is buried at Forest Park Lawndale - Houston, Tx. Not sure where "T" is buried, may be the same place......
