My Cousin Julia,
Your Grandfather William Thomas Binning was my Great Uncle. He was born in St. Francisville, Louisiana to Henery Augustus Binning and Georgia Annabell McKelvey. He was the oldest of seven children

William Thomas your grandfather 1st born
Francis Henery my grandfather 2nd born
Olive Carruth our great aunt 3rd born
Josie McClain our great aunt 4th born
Eugene Leonard our great uncle 5th born
Ida May our great aunt 6th born
Josephine our great aunt 7th born

They were episcopalians and all of their records are at the
episcopal church in St Francisville. It is 25 miles north of Baton Rouge. My Grandfather, who we all called Grand Dad,
always called his big brother Willie T., so that is what i have always called your Grandfather, Uncle Willie T. Henery Augustus Binning owened a telephone and telegraph company in St. Francisville named the Cumberland Telephone and Telegraph Company. He also owned a plantation on Thomas Creek, this creek was named for your Great Great Grandfather, william Thomas binning, who was born in England in 1812. So you see, your Grandfather was named after his Grandfather, the first Binning in our Family to come to America. I visited Mansfield when i was a kid and stayed at a house that the people had a slaughter house and they had a 5 legged cow, that really stuck in my mind,
anyway, the First William Thomas was a carriage maker. He married Matilda Walcott, and they had seven Children.

Henery Theodore 1st born your great great uncle

William Washington 2nd born great great uncle

Mary Olive 3rd born great great aunt

Kate Arabella 4th born great great aunt

Henery Augustus 5th born great great grandfather

Charles 6th born great great uncle

Arianna Maud 7th born great great aunt

William and Matilda were married in Natchez Mississippi just above woodville on July 29th, 1839. I have their marriage certificate as well as your great grandfathers Henery Augustus. I have the baptism records of all of these people and their census records and news paper clippings from Woodville, Mississippi and St. Francisville, Louisiana.
I would love to get u all of this information and i hope you get this message.
With the Love Only one Family member can have for another I remain your cousin
Francis Earl Binning
