My Dearest Cousin,
I'm delighted that the information that I sent you found you and I'm so happy to have another binning interested in the family. I would have answered you before now but I've been in Memphis seeing my half brother Jon Carey Binning ( our father was the same but we had different
moms). OK, so I went backwards from our Grandfathers so now i wanna go farward on my side of the family. These should be people u have never met and perhaps you would like to hear about them.
My Grandfather was Francis Henery Binning Sr. He was born on February 28th,1888 in Bayou Sara, Louisiana. Bayou Sara is now a part of St. Francisville, and he married Mary
Lillian Romero (your Great Aunt and my Grandmother). They were married in 1908 in Woodville Mississippi. He died in 1968 and she died in 1963. they were buried side by side in the Magnolia cemetary in Baton Rouge Louisiana. They had nine
children, ^ boys and 3 girls, They were :

Francis Henery Binning Jr. 1st born married to aunt Jesse
2 sons Franky and Stanley they had daughters but i can only remember Patsy. We called him Uncle Nank and he was a painter. He died of Lou Gariegs disease

Davis Romero Binning 2nd born never married (he was gay but he was a sweet old man)

Windom Wayne Binning 3rd born married to Aunt Ruthie ( she died a few months ago) They had 2 sons Kenneth Wayne and i cant recall the other. Uncle Windom owned a contracting company and uncle Nank and my dad worked for him off and on over the years. Uncle Windom died young. He was watching an LSU and Alabama football game and when Alabama won he jumped up had a massive heart attack and died. Ive never been big on football since that day. Their son Kenneth was a history teacher at Broadmoor High School for a long time
and I dont know what he's doing now.

Sellers Idola Binning 4th born married a man with the last name of Hamilton and we called him uncle Ham. She was always Aunt Idola. She worked retired from the Louisiana department of Transportation. The building she worked in was right next door to the Governors mansion in Baton Rouge. Aunt Idola was the Glue of the family in Baton Rouge after Grand dad died.

Marguerite Lillian Binning 5th born we called her Aunt Margie and she was married to a man with the last name of White

Georgie Annabell Binning 6th born ( she was named after Annabell Mckelvey

Marion McKelvy Binning 7th born Married a woman named Ruby Lee and had a daughter Katherine. He was a major in the serriffs office in Baton Rouge for years. He didnt like his name Marion so every one called him Sonny or MM Binning. He was always my Uncle Sonny. He was in the Race riots of the 1960's and was in Time Magazine for shooting a black sniper out of a second story window during a parade. He was an avade gun collector and a dead shot with a pistol. He was about 60 yards away when he killed that sniper. I got to go to the police boys camp in Leesville Louisiana because of Uncle Sonny when I was a kid and every summer was a blast.

Robert Cristy Binning 8th born ( Now he was special) we called him Uncle R.C. and he moved to Dayton Ohio and worked for Monsanto. He was a famous Chemist and he invented unleaded gasoline. This is not something I made up,
go to the genelogical part of your library and find a book called Famous American Scientist and you will find him in there listed as the inventor of unleaded gasoline. His son is also a famous chemist. If you type in R C Binning on your computer you will find pages and pages of his sons formulas. Now how about that cousin!!!!

Ira Carey Binning Sr 9th born he was married to Elisabeth Loretta Morris ( My mom and Dad ) Daddy died when I was !9
from a blood clot in his lung and Momma is still alive. He was married 3 times To Miss Betty ( Jon Careys Mom ) then my Mom and they had 5 kids

Rebecca Lynn Binning Husband William Stanley Carles
Vivian Gaye Binning Husband Joseph Dennis Williams
Ira Carey Binning Jr. Wife Lynette
Francis Earl Binning (yours truly) Wife Trina Ann Aucoin
