Hello Roger. In my own research into the BOWKER line, There is a strong connection with both BIRCHALL and NANTWICH. My great grandmother Maria Jane Twigg, married Ernest Crawford Bowker in Congleton (St. Peter) in 1889. Ernest was born in Hospital street, Nantwich in 1859 as was his father and his father etc. Maria and Ernest had 4 children. Maria was 10 years younger than Ernest. Ernest died in his early 40's and Maria re-married one W.J.BIRCHALL. As far as I know, Maria and "W.J" (Jack?) Birchall had 5-7(?) further children. I believe W.J may have had children from a previous marriage.(He Became a local J.P.(?)) - Is "Dairy Farm" a connection? My grandfather Henry Crawford BOWKER and his brother Raymond Ernest BOWKER both lived with Maria and "W.J". Raymond's sons still farm near Wrenbury Frith. Many connections also with WILASTON and WISTASTON.(PLATT and BOWKER families) Is ANY of this Familiar? Good luck in your search. Free free to contact me direct at kieronbowker@supanet.com should you wish to do so. Regards, Kieron Bowker
