Looking for information on William Birchall, listed as (joint?) proprietor of a bleachery in New York census 1880.
He was related to the Bolton family and it follows that the bleachery was the Bolton Bleachery located in the Bronx area (on site where Bronx Zoo now stands).
I am particularly interested to know whether this William Birchall moved to England and/or got married (to Mary ?)as this would help in my search for my great grandfather Birchall
