I am searching for the parents and family origins of the persons named in the following records:

1. Ann Outram married John Gutteridge at Manchester Cathedral in Lancashire, England on May 30, 1844. Ann Outram was described in the record as being a spinster ( single ), no age given, no father nor parents given, living at 40 Tame Street in Manchester. From census records, I know that she was born in Warrington. John Gutteridge was a weaver, son of John Gutteridge, weaver. Ann had 2 children with John Gutteridge before he died in the 1840's. They were: Joseph Houthram ( Outram ? )( b. in Ashton in ca. 1843 )and William Gutteridge ( b. in Clayton in ca. 1845 ), who both moved to Australia to become sheep farmers. At the time of this marriage, John Gutteridge lived at 80 Tame Street in Manchester.

2. Ann ( Outram ) Gutteridge, widow, age 32 yrs. ( b.c. 1821 )in Warrington, widow, living at Buckley Street in Manchester, married at Manchester Cathedral on Jan. 1, 1853, John Taylor, age 31 yrs. ( b.c. 1822 in Rochdale ),bachelor, weaver, son of Thomas Taylor, weaver, living at 28 Buckley Street in Manchester. On this record, Ann ( Outram ) Gutteridge listed her father as Joseph Birchell ( Birchall ), a fariman ( ferryman ) or lineman...hard to read.

3. Ann, daughter of Joseph Birchall and Susan or Susannah, was bapt. at St. Elphins, Warrington in 1819. There was only one Ann Outram, daughter of Thomas Outram and Martha, bapt. in Warrington, but it was in the wrong time frame.

4. There was only one Joseph Birchall in " Trades for 1855 in Manchester area " and he was listed as a laborer.

So I'm a bit confused here. I don't know if Ann above was married three times to an Outram, Gutteridge, and Taylor and her maiden name was Birchall. Or perhaps her mother's maiden name was Outram and she gave birth to Ann out of wedlock. I know that Ann had son, Joseph Houtram ( Outram )in ca. 1843. She married John Gutteridge in 1844. And then she had son, William Gutteridge in ca. 1845.
On her marriage record in 1844 to John Gutteridge, she was listed as Ann Outram, a spinster ( single ), and no parents nor even father for her was listed. She was not described as a widow. On her second marriage record in 1853, she was described as Ann Gutteridge, widow, and her father was listed as Joseph Birchall...no mother given.
Any information about the above persons and their parents and family origins would be very much appreciated.
Jean Mayo.
