Frederick George Birchall 1901-1946 Matley Cheshire

I'm searching for any relatives of Frederick George Birchall born 1901 in Cheshire Matley, England and died in Indonesia in 1946.

Frederick's mother's name was Harriet Birchall (nee Cook/e) and father George Birchall. He arrived in Australia, we think, in 1926 and was Squadron Leader for RAAF during WW2. After WW2 he headed up the War Crimes investigations against the Japanese in Indonesia and was subsequently ambushed and murdered by 2 Japanese in Java.

Frederick George Birchall was my husband's second cousin. His mother Harriet and my husband's grandmother Alice Cook were sisters and their parents were Sarah Cook (nee Knowles) and Samuel Cook who lived in Ash Farm, Matley, Cheshire.

Any information of any relative anywhere in the world would be welcomed.
