Hi Mrs Gerrard;

(I received two emails back in Aug. 2000 when I posted for info on Henry Birchall.) "The info comes from the BVRI discs (British Vital Records Index).
STEWART, Mary Sex: Female
Christening Date: 15 Oct 1848 Recorded in Adlington, Lancashire, England.
Father: James STEWART
Mother: Anne
Source: FHL Number 1526062 Dates: 1839-1876

BIRCHALL, Henry Age: 23 years
Wife: Mary STEWART Age: 23 years
Marriage Date: 5 Jul 1871 Recorded in: Adlington, Lancashire, England
Husband's Father: Richard BIRCHALL
Wife's Father: James STEWART
Source: FHL Number 1526077 Dates: 1843-1900
There are details on the disc of at least 5 children born to Henry & Mary Birchall in Adlington between Mar 1873 & Oct 1880...inc Ellen 1874 & Henry 1876."
This info has turned out to NOT be the BIRCHALL family I am looking for. A marriage extract copy of one of the children showed the mother to be Mary BRIDGE (not Stewart).
So I am still looking for Henry Birchall and Mary Bridge from Liverpool (1842 & 1843).

Jack Hayes, Saskatchewan, Canada
