I have a copy of the 1881 census in Dover, UK and it shows my great grandfather William Wood Burkett as well as his father George W. Burkett. Both had bakeries, another son had a butcher shop. One census taker spelled the name Burkett and the other Barkett. Both in reality spelled it Burkett tho.
