Chris,

My father was Philip Walter Birkett whose older brother was a Harry Birkett. Lived at Heighington House, Heighington for many years and ran an International Harvester tractor business in Westgate, Lincoln. Problem is that I don't know if Harry's father's name was Fred (or indeed whether my great-grandfather's name was Fred). If Fred also had two daughters, Jess and Pom (Margaret, I think) then we are getting somewhere! Regards, Peter B.
